Program Philosophy
 

Premium 2000 PlusWarranty Programs attempts to offer a balance of ease of handling for used truck dealers and real, quantifiable benefit to truck owners.  To that end, the programs are constantly being reassessed and revised; 2008 brings some major changes intended to assist truck sales and increase dealership profits.

Service after the truck and warranty sale is “key”.  Getting claimants back on the road with a minimum of hassle and downtime separates warranty providers.  We pride ourselves in the knowledge and helpfulness of our Claims Department; we are aware that no one wins when a truck has a powertrain breakdown.  We allow truck owners to choose expeditious repair facilities.  We work closely with these shops to make sure repairs are done quickly and properly so that the owner of the truck will not suffer undue income interruption. 

Testimonials from truck owners and repair shops speak to our efficiency.  Many of our dealer customers began offering our warranty programs in the Sales Department after witnessing our claims handling in their Service Department.

Our warranty programs were introduced to the Medium and Heavy Duty Truck markets over five (5) years ago.  We “pioneered” a new approach to the commercial truck warranty marketplace.  Our popularity has grown; we now have approximately 500 dealers offering our coverage’s in the U.S. and Canada with more “getting on board” monthly. 

Our new approach is based on the “trust” that our dealers will not intentionally deliver an under performing truck to their customer.  Quality dealers rely on repeat and referred business for their success; they can’t risk their reputations selling inferior equipment – not even once.  We “partner” with these dealers for the repair of unforeseen, impossible-to-predict major component breakdowns. 

The “partnership” works: we get a quality used truck for warranty; the dealer gets a “safety net” in case the catastrophic failure does occur, the used truck customer gets the “peace of mind” necessary to buy a (sometimes high mileage) truck knowing that the risk of business threatening repair expenses have been warranted by a company that can handle and pay for the repairs “on the spot”.
