Premium Story
Premium 2000+™ is the Original "NO HOOPS” Used Truck Warranty Company.
Although we have been in business since 1995, we began writing warranties on
used trucks in 2000. We were the first company to allow dealers to inspect
and qualify their own trucks for warranty coverage.
Our president, Lynn Murphy, started the business to fill what he
envisioned as a need for dealers to be able to offer a comprehensive
warranty program that allowed the dealer the ability to inspect their own
trucks, a program that was simple to understand, and was easy to apply. The
programs offered by us today are the result of that vision.
At Premium 2000+™, we are innovators and are constantly aware of our
responsibility to our dealers and their buyers. As Lynn puts it, "A
warranty company exists to pay claims. That is our business. Without claims
we have no place in the market!".
In 2008 we began training our dealers through the use of Web-Based "live"
training sessions designed to be presented to our dealer network on a
one-on-one basis. We have trained over 250 of our dealers using this
format. We are committed to training and helping our dealers grow their
businesses and to help them sell more trucks.
Our Home Office is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where we have
a terrific staff to handle all of our Accounting and Customer Service. That
is also the location of our 24-Hour Claims Center where there is always an
ASE Certified Mechanic (Claims Representative) available to take care of the
claims as they come in. Additionally, we have Area Managers across the
United States who are available to answer questions and assist our growing
Dealer Family.
Lynn Murphy is never satisfied with the product he created. It has
evolved from where it began to become the New Industry Standard. Many
warranty companies have followed our lead and attempted to copy our program.
Ever mindful of the competition, Lynn encourages and embraces change to the
program offerings. He does so by listening to the needs of the dealers as
presented by the Premium Truck Committee he created to keep him abreast of
new developments and concerns in the industry.
Lynn's philosophy is simple, "We are good today, but we will be even
better tomorrow!"
